Unleash the Power of Creative Thinking with Naked Brains Consultancy

Welcome
Hi, I'm Rebecca/Bec. I am a 28 year old pastel lover living in Inverness, Scotland. I have Cerebral Palsy a condition which affects all four of my limbs making me a full time wheelchair user. Because of my condition, I have a wealth of knowledge of services and have made it my mission to ensure nobody goes through what I have had to go through.

Naked Brains was created in an effort to change perceptions of disability and promote the importance of having "the right attitude" and approach.

I have a canine partner, Gregg, who has completely changed my life. I am so incredibly grateful for not only the physical support he provides, but the emotional too. There is no one else I would rather walk through life with.

Be part of the "clean thinking relvoultion" and join us on this crazy journey we call life. We would love to have you with us.

Working With the Best

I was delighted to be nominated for the Care and Learning Award at the Scottish Care Awards 2020. I was nominated by Highland Home Carers and ended up being a finalist. It fills me with great joy and pride to know the work I am doing is recognised and making such a difference to people's lives.
I was lucky enough to be awarded a place on the working together for change programme run by In Control Scotland. The programme allowed me to develop a greater insight into self directed support and how this approach can transform lives, keeping the person in the centre at all times we discussed how to make this approach accessible to all. Self directed support should not be an option instead a way of life.My hope is that I can use what I have learnt to support professionals to practice in a way that embraces all that self directed support has to offer ultimately providing services to everyone that allows individuals the choice and control they are entitled too. After all we all deserve to live a life we love.
